How Guessary works

  • Answer quick questions

Smitten asks you questions like “Do you sing in the shower?”. Tap No or Yes, and swipe to skip a question you'd rather not answer.

  • Answer at least 15

The app asks for at least 15 answers. Reach them and you'll see “Guessary is unlocked”. The more you answer, the more there is to guess.

  • They guess, you score

People who see your profile get your questions about you, like “Does Maria sing in the shower?”, and guess No or Yes. Three wrong guesses and their game is over.

  • The result starts the chat

If you match, their result is posted in your chat, with every right and wrong guess to tease them about, and a button to play theirs and beat their score.

How well do you know Maria?

This is Guessary as it looks on a profile in the app. Maria is a sample profile, and her answers and scores are made up for this demo. The questions are real ones from the app. Three wrong guesses and you're out.

Good to know

  • Playing isn't a like

Guessing someone's answers doesn't send them a like. Your result waits, and lands in your chat if you match.

  • One go each

Everyone gets to play your Guessary once, so every score counts.

  • Try your own

You can play your own Guessary on your profile to see what others see. That round stays on your phone.

  • Free to play

Answering questions and playing other people's Guessary doesn't need Smitten Premium.

Guessary questions, answered

What is Guessary on Smitten?

Guessary is an icebreaker game on your Smitten profile. You answer yes-or-no questions about yourself, and the people who see your profile guess your answers. If you match, the result is posted in your chat.

How many Guessary questions do I need to answer?

The app asks you to answer at least 15. You can keep going: the more you answer, the more there is to guess and to talk about.

What happens after three wrong guesses?

The game ends. Your result is saved, and it's posted in your chat if you match.

Does playing someone's Guessary send them a like?

No. Playing only saves your result. It shows up in your chat if the two of you match.

Can I change my Guessary answers?

Yes. In the app, go to You, then Edit profile, then Ice Breakers, and tap Edit answers.

Is Guessary free?

Yes. Answering questions and playing other people's Guessary doesn't need Smitten Premium.
