Search lets you find people on Smitten by name or by describing who you’re looking for. It’s on the Explore tab and is free for everyone.
How to search
- Tap the Explore tab (the fourth icon in the tab bar).
- Tap the “Search Smitten” bar.
- Type a name, or describe who you’re looking for, like “loves skiing” or “studies at the university”.
Smitten matches your words against names, ages, cities, schools, workplaces, profile answers and photos, and shows you the profiles that fit.
Good to know
- You only see people in your own country who match your gender preferences, and who are looking for someone like you.
- People who are in Incognito only show up if they’ve already liked you.
- People you’ve blocked or reported, and people who blocked or reported you, don’t appear.
- Some people who already liked you may appear blurred. Tap them to see the option to get Smitten Premium.
