Incognito hides your profile from everyone except the people you’ve liked. It’s a Smitten Premium feature you turn on in Settings → “My account”.
How to turn Incognito on or off
- Tap your profile photo in the bottom-right corner to open the “You” tab.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open “Settings”.
- Tap “My account”.
- Turn the “Incognito” switch on or off.
Without Premium, tapping the switch shows you the option to get Smitten Premium.
How it works
- While you’re incognito, you don’t appear in anyone’s feed, Search results or Spotlight.
- When you like someone, they can see you, so they get the chance to like you back.
- Because only people you’ve liked can see you, you won’t get likes from anyone else.
- Boosting while incognito doesn’t improve your visibility. Turn Incognito off before you boost.
If your Premium ends
Smitten keeps you incognito and asks what you want to do: “Stay incognito” (renew Premium) or “Make my profile visible”.
