No. Smitten doesn’t show ads, on the free version or with Premium. Premium isn’t a way to remove ads, because there aren’t any.
If you come across a profile that looks like an ad or is selling something, please report it:
- Open their profile and tap “Block or report”.
- Tap “Report and block”.
- Choose “Scam or ads”, then the reason that fits best, like “Selling products or services” or “Promoting social media”.
Reports are anonymous: they won’t know you reported them. If it’s someone you’ve matched with, the button reads “Unmatch or report” and the option is “Report and unmatch”.
What about Smitten’s own ads?
Smitten advertises itself outside the app. The “Marketing consent” setting in Settings → “My account” lets us use your profile and photos in those ads. It doesn’t add ads to the app.
