Smitten doesn’t limit sign-up to particular countries. To create an account you need a mobile number that can receive the code we send by text message. How many people you’ll see depends on how many Smitten users are near you.
Most people on Smitten are in Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, so elsewhere you may see fewer profiles nearby.
Good to know
- If no one is within your distance setting, Smitten shows you profiles a little further away.
- The “Same country only” setting shows you only people from your own country. It’s based on your phone number’s country code, not where you are right now, so it stays the same when you travel. You’ll find it in Settings → “Feed preferences”.
- Didn’t get the text message with your code? Wait a little and try again. If it still doesn’t arrive, contact us.
- The app is available in several languages. See which ones.
