Pausing hides your profile from everyone while you take a break. You can still chat with your current matches, and you can come back whenever you like.
To pause your account
- Tap your profile photo in the bottom-right corner to open the “You” tab.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open “Settings”.
- Tap “My account”.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete or pause account”.
- Tap “I’ll take a break”.
- Tap “I’ll take a break” again to confirm.
While you’re paused
- Nobody can see your profile in the feed, in search or in their likes.
- You won’t get new likes.
- You can keep chatting with your current matches.
- Pausing doesn’t cancel a Premium subscription. To stop payments, cancel your subscription.
To unpause
Do any of these:
- Tap “Jump back in the fun” on the Feed.
- Go back to “Delete or pause account” and tap “Start again”.
- Like or pass on someone. This unpauses you automatically.
