To unmatch someone, open your chat with them, tap the three dots in the top-right corner and choose “Unmatch”. It happens straight away and can’t be undone.
- Tap the “Chat” tab and open your chat with them.
- Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
- Tap “Unmatch”.
You can also do it from their profile. Tap their name at the top of the chat, scroll to the bottom of their profile, tap “Unmatch or report”, then “Unmatch”.
What happens next
- There’s no confirmation step. The match is removed as soon as you tap “Unmatch”.
- The chat disappears for both of you, and it can’t be brought back.
- You won’t see each other in your Feeds again.
