Can I unsend a message?

Yes. You can unsend a text, photo or GIF you’ve sent: press and hold it, then tap “Unsend”. It’s removed from the chat for both of you.

1. Open your chat.
2. Press and hold the message you want to remove.
3. Tap “Unsend”.
4. Tap “Unsend” again to confirm.

Good to know

• In its place, you’ll see “You unsent a message”, and the other person will see that you unsent a message.
• You can only unsend your own messages, and only while you’re still matched.
• Game results, like Lie Detector, Guessary and Wavy, can’t be unsent.
• Unsending removes the message from the chat, but can’t undo it if they’ve already seen it.
• Want to remove the whole conversation? You can unmatch, but that’s permanent.
