A blue heart labeled “Re-like” means you’ve matched with this person before and that match has ended. Tap it to like them again; if they like you back, you’ll match again.
- Depending on your version of the app, the “Re-like” heart may look purple rather than blue.
- The first time you see it, a bubble may say “Matched before” and “Want to like again?”.
- A new match starts a fresh, empty chat. Your old messages don’t come back.
- Matches that expired can show up in your Feed again a few days later. People you’ve unmatched won’t. See When do matches expire?
- If you have Premium and they’ve already liked you, the heart says “Likes you” instead.
