How do I block someone’s phone number?

Use “Blocked numbers” to block someone’s phone number, even if they aren’t on Smitten yet. Once a number is blocked, you and that person won’t see each other on Smitten.

To block a phone number

1. Tap your profile photo in the bottom-right corner to open the “You” tab.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open “Settings”.
3. Tap “My account”.
4. Tap “Blocked numbers”.
5. Choose the country code and enter the phone number.
6. Tap “Block”.

Good to know

• If that person joins Smitten later with that number, you still won’t see each other.
• If you’re already matched with them, the match ends.
• We don’t notify them that you blocked their number.
• If you see “That does not look like a valid phone number”, check the country code and the number.

To unblock a number

1. Go to “Blocked numbers” and tap “Unblock” next to the number.
2. Tap “Unblock” again to confirm. You’ll be able to see each other again.
